Sustainability is at the heart of MOO’s mission. We believe great design should be good for people and the planet.
To help guide us, we’ve outlined our commitments in our manifesto “Sustainable Impressions”, focusing on three pillars: People, Planet, and Product.
We are proud to state that MOO is recognised by the Forest Stewardship Council® – the world’s leading authority on sustainable forest management.
Our FSC® certification (FSC-C214359 and FSC-C215350) shows our commitment to responsible forestry practices that not only help preserve biodiversity but also uphold workers’ rights, and respect forest communities.
We offer a range of paper choices with a variety of sustainability credentials, including some made from recycled materials. Keep an eye on product descriptions for more info, or to spot our FSC® certified products.
Below we have collated some typical questions we get asked. For anything more specific, our Customer Service team is happy to answer any further questions you may have.
What’s MOO’s most sustainable paper stock?
We’re always looking for new ways to offer more sustainable choices, and we work hard to make sure the materials we use are responsibly sourced.
You will find that many of our papers are FSC® certified. FSC® is dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide. We’ve also got tree-free Cotton paper.
Are MOO products recyclable?
Many of our paper products, such as our uncoated paper ranges, are fully recyclable and can be placed in your usual paper recycling bin.
Some specialty finishes, like lamination or certain foils, may not be accepted by all recycling services, so we recommend checking with your local facility if you’re unsure.
How sustainable is your packaging?
We are actively working to reduce waste by introducing more recyclable and minimal packaging options. Our design team continues to test and improve packaging to make sure your order arrives safely, protected by just the right amount of packaging made from considerate materials.
Can I put FSC logos on my printed products?
MOO has worked hard to be able to use the FSC® logo on our website and elsewhere, but we’re also responsible for ensuring that they are used in accordance with FSC® guidelines. Due to the complexities of how customers may want to use the FSC® logo in their designs, it's not permitted to customise our products with the logo at this time.
