What are Luxe Business Cards?
Luxe Business Cards are the thickest option in the range, made from 600gsm (32pt) Mohawk Superfine® paper. They’re created by layering multiple sheets together, with a colored seam running through the middle.
They’re uncoated, naturally textured, and designed to feel substantial in hand. This is the option people tend to pick when they want something that stands out before you even look at the design.

What makes Luxe different?
Luxe cards are built using a layered construction, which is what gives them their distinctive thickness and edge color.
Here’s how the layers in the image come together:

(1) Top outer layer
Made from uncoated Mohawk Superfine® paper. This is the surface you print on, with a natural texture and a soft, tactile feel. -
(2) Colored seam (middle layers)
The inner layers create the signature colored edge. This is a solid insert, not printed ink, which is why the color appears so bold and consistent around the sides of the card. -
(3) Bottom outer layer
Matches the top layer, giving the card a consistent uncoated finish on both sides. It’s also writable, making it useful for notes or added details.
This layered structure is what makes Luxe noticeably thicker, more rigid, and more tactile than any other business card option.

You can choose from eight different seam colors that sit between the layers:

A couple of things to keep in mind:
- The CMYK values are approximate guides, not exact matches
- Pink and orange seams are especially vibrant (almost fluorescent) and can’t be accurately matched with standard 4-color printing
- If you’re trying to match branding exactly, darker or more neutral seams tend to be more predictable
Customization
- Uncoated surface gives a natural, slightly muted print finish
- Works best with simple layouts, typography, or minimal ink coverage
- Color seams add contrast without needing extra print effects

What to know before ordering
- This is the thickest card option available
- Best suited for clean, intentional designs rather than heavy graphics
- Not compatible with glossy or special finishes like foil or spot gloss
- Seam color is a key design choice and will be visible from every angle
- If you need precise color matching across the whole card, keep in mind the seam is a separate material and won’t perfectly match printed ink
