Can I use Pantone/spot colors for my designs?
Currently, MOO uses CMYK inks and we are unable to print Pantone/spot colors.
How to remove a spot color on Illustrator
The most efficient way to remove a spot color is to open the file in Illustrator and select the Pantone/spot color, then simply convert the color by clicking the small symbol underneath the color picker.
Please keep in mind that certain Pantone/spot colors may not have exact CMYK equivalents. After converting to CMYK, manual adjustments may be needed to ensure your color is matched as closely as possible. We cannot guarantee an exact CMYK color match to all pantone/spot colors.
If you do not have access to the original file, you could try simply preflighting the file, using the preset PDF/X-1a:2001. Click here to find how.
