Can I use Pantone/spot colours for my designs?
Currently, MOO uses CMYK inks and we are unable to print Pantone/spot colours.
How to remove a spot colour on Illustrator
The most efficient way to remove a spot colour is to open the file in Illustrator and select the Pantone/spot colour, then simply convert the colour by clicking the small symbol underneath the colour picker.
Please keep in mind that certain Pantone/spot colours may not have exact CMYK equivalents. After converting to CMYK, manual adjustments may be needed to ensure your colour is matched as closely as possible. We cannot guarantee an exact CMYK colour match to all Pantone/spot colours.
If you do not have access to the original file, you could try simply preflighting the file, using the preset PDF/X-1a:2001. Click here to find how.
